Sports Massage – 60 minutes – £45

Sports massage uses specific techniques that encourage muscle fibres to return to normal and correct function. The techniques work with the physiological behaviour of muscle fibres to bring better alignment and flexibility through inhibiting, stretching and separating congested tissue.

These techniques are suitable not only for athletes, performers and amateur sports people, they are very effective for muscular tension resulting from repetitive actions, such as using tools or machines to perform hobbies or work activities, sedentary lifestyles such as desk-based professions, or more chronic conditions where muscular issues are prevalent, such as fibromyalgia and scoliosis.

Your first appointment will include a thorough assessment including posture, functional movements of joints and muscles, and range of movement tests. Please note we do not treat injured tissue; if you have suffered a recent injury please call us before making your booking.

Holistic Body Massage – 60 minutes – £45, 90 minutes – £60

A full body massage is a truly relaxing experience. Using a combination of massage techniques including stroking, kneading, and percussion, the routine is adapted to the clients’ needs based on their aims for the treatment and their medical history.

We use high quality, 100% natural oils in our treatments, amongst them Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis), Peach Kernel (Prunus persica), and Grape Seed (Vitis vinifera), selecting the best blend of ingredients to suit each clients’ skin type. The effects of massage include exfoliation of the skin, stimulation of the circulation, relaxation of the nervous system, encouraged elimination, and, of course, the relaxation and toning of the muscles and joints.

A treatment will include a combination of the following sections of the body depending on a clients’ medical history, presenting conditions and aims, and the length of the session booked: Legs & Feet, Back, Neck & Shoulders, Face & Head, Arms & Hands, Abdomen.

Holistic Facial Massage – 30 minutes – £25, 45 minutes – £35

A facial is a fantastic reviving treatment when time is short. To get a deep relaxing effect, our facial massage extends to the front of the shoulders, upper chest and neck, an area of complex layered muscles that tense up easily when stress becomes too much and breathing becomes shallow. By working this area the breath deepens, and by the time we reach the top of the head all worry has melted away.

We use the same high quality oils, this time opting for those with true beauty benefits such as Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) and Rosehip (Rosa rubiginosa) to exfoliate, moisturise and revive the skin.

Facials include the Face & Head, Neck & Shoulders. The choice of oils will be made on the basis of the clients’ skin type, medical history and aims, and taking into consideration any presenting conditions.
